Misfits Boxing middleweight champion Elle Brooke has hinted at a potential return to the ring in 2026, revealing on Instagram that she’s been feeling lost without the structure of fight training and competition.

The Portsmouth-born boxer shared with her followers that she was “actually thinking about starting again,” attributing recent feelings of sadness to the absence of training and a clear competitive goal. Brooke’s candid admission comes after a period away from the gym following her last appearance in September 2024.

“I was actually thinking about starting again. I’ve been pretty sad & lost recently and I think it’s cos I haven’t been training / Or had a goal.”

Brooke last defended her title against bare-knuckle veteran Jenny Savage at Misfits Boxing 18 in Newcastle, securing a unanimous decision victory with scorecards of 48-47, 49-46, and 48-47. The win marked her second successful title defense of 2024, following a split draw against former UFC fighter Paige VanZant in Houston earlier that May.

The 28-year-old has compiled a respectable 5-1-1 record since making her boxing debut in July 2022. Her only loss came against Jully Poca in the 2023 Kingpyn High Stakes tournament semifinals. Brooke won the Misfits women’s middleweight championship in January 2024 with a third-round knockout of AJ Bunker, widely considered one of the best finishes in female influencer boxing.

Training has consistently been central to Brooke’s identity as a fighter. She previously worked with coach Mark Tibbs and trained alongside world champion Ebanie Bridges in Leeds. Brooke has spoken openly about how boxing transformed her relationship with her body and provided purpose beyond her work as a content creator.

The mental health aspect of training appears significant for Brooke, who has discussed in past interviews how boxing gave her confidence and structure. Her recent Instagram post suggests that the absence of training camps and competitive goals has affected her wellbeing.

No opponent or specific date has been announced for Brooke’s potential 2026 return. Speculation about her next fight has included a possible rematch with VanZant, though VanZant‘s team previously stated they needed more time before scheduling that bout. Brooke has also previously called out adult film actress Lana Rhoades as a potential opponent.

Misfits Boxing, founded by YouTube star KSI in partnership with DAZN, has become a major platform for crossover boxing events featuring influencers and professional fighters. The promotion has hosted events across the United Kingdom, United States, and Middle East since its 2022 launch.
