HOKA is kicking off 2026 with the release of its all new Kawana 3 training shoe, a refreshed version of its popular gym and everyday fitness sneaker designed for circuit training, walking and all-day wear. The HOKA Kawana 3 is priced at $140 and is now available in both men’s and women’s sizes. Each version of the Kawana 3 is available in three neutral colorways, including Grout, Faded Navy and White for women’s shoe along with Putty, Midnight Blue and Black for the men’s sneaker, making the shoe easy to wear pretty much anywhere.

Designed as a “transitional daily trainer,” the Kawana 3 is built to move easily from treadmill sessions to weight training to casual walking without needing a shoe change. HOKA updated the engineered mesh upper to be tighter and more durable in high-wear zones like the toe while keeping the midfoot breathable for airflow during workouts. The result is a shoe that feels supportive without being stiff, structured without feeling bulky.
One of the most noticeable updates is the streamlined heel, which HOKA says was redesigned to reduce weight and allow the shoe to rotate more easily through circuit stations and gym equipment. A plush padded tongue and easy-in heel pull make the shoe comfortable to slip on and off, while zonal rubber outsole pods add durability in areas that tend to wear down faster.
Underfoot, the Kawana 3 uses compression-molded EVA foam for cushioning that feels balanced rather than overly plush or overly firm. The shoe has a 5mm heel-to-toe drop and a neutral stability profile, making it a solid option for shoppers who want a supportive trainer without motion-control features.
