A top WWE Superstar reportedly missed this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW due to injury.

WWE has made an effort to put its best foot forward to kick off 2026. Several of the top stars of RAW and SmackDown have been utilized on television as we approach the Royal Rumble. However, Rey Mysterio was missing from RAW this week, and now we know why.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rey Mysterio missed RAW this week due to an injury. Luckily, the injury is reportedly minor, and he’s expected back on WWE programming quickly.

Mysterio last competed on the December 29 episode of WWE RAW, defeating Austin Theory via disqualification. It’s unknown if the Master of the 619 will return this week or if it will be closer to the Royal Rumble.
