It will be hard to top the entertainment from wild-card weekend around the NFL, which saw four games come down to the wire, but the stakes are even higher in the divisional round.

All eight teams still alive in the chase for the Lombardi Trophy are playing this weekend, and half of the divisional slate will go down on Saturday as the only two playoff teams yet to play start what they hope will be an extended journey.
The Denver Broncos will open the playoffs against the Buffalo Bills, a year after losing to the Bills on the road in their first playoff game under Sean Payton. One year later, the Broncos are the top seed in the AFC and aren’t just a feel-good story anymore.
In the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks will try to find the same formula that worked for them against the San Francisco 49ers two weeks earlier, when they clinched the NFC West and No. 1 seed by holding the ‘Niners to just three points. With the Lumen Field crowd behind them, the Seahawks are hoping to prevent the 49ers from getting the last laugh.
