In other words, Forerunner 165, Forerunner 255, Forerunner 265, Forerunner 955 and Forerunner 965 should experience a smoother scrolling experience after updating to Software Version 27.09. Please note that this is limited to Garmin’s Activity Summary menu. Moreover, the new update resolves a possible crash that could occur during swimming activities and a separate issue that caused race time prediction to be missing from a Garmin Coach Plan. On top of that, all but the Forerunner 255 have received a separate fix that resulted in touchscreen actions not working for incoming calls.
Also, Garmin claims to have included various other bug fixes and stability improvements. Unfortunately, it has decided against revealing the extent of these other changes. Software Version 27.09 should reach all eligible smartwatches within the next few days as part of a phased rollout. In the meantime, one can request the new update manually by tapping ‘Check for Updates’ after navigating through Menu, System and then Software Update.
