NEW YORK CITY — Superfoods Inc., doing business as Live it Up, is recalling certain Live it Up Super Greens products sold nationwide because of possible salmonella contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recall includes Live it Up Super Greens in Original and Wild Berry flavors with lot codes beginning with the letter “A,” as well as all stick pack products. The items were sold across the U.S. through the company’s website beginning in January 2025 and on Amazon.com starting July 30.

Salmonella can cause serious illness, particularly in young children, older adults and people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Federal health officials have reported 45 illnesses and 12 hospitalizations nationwide linked to the outbreak, which the FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said may be connected to Live it Up Super Greens. No other Live it Up products are affected.

Consumers are urged not to eat the recalled products and to dispose of them immediately. Refunds are available by contacting Live it Up at recall@artofenso.com.
