Harries, the countdown is on: Our boy is finally releasing new music. Just days after unveiling the artwork and release date for his upcoming studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., Harry Styles announced on Tuesday that his single, “Aperture,” will be available to stream on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. ET.
Styles shared news of his new track on Instagram, posting a photo of himself sitting in the studio with his arms raised triumphantly. “Aperture” marks the former One Directioner’s first single in three years. Styles last released the track “Satellite” in 2023 from his Grammy-winning album Harry’s House.
Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. will feature 12 tracks and is executive produced by Kid Harpoon, a longtime collaborator of the “Watermelon Sugar” singer. News of Styles’s forthcoming album, which is out March 6, came last week following a flurry of cryptic clues.
When a website, webelongtogether.co, featuring a video clip taken from Styles’s “Forever, Forever” music video went live on Jan. 12, fans were quick to connect it back to the pop star. The belief that Styles was trying to hint at a new era of music was bolstered when the same image from the video clip was seen on digital billboards and posters around the world.
Styles’s fans who signed up for updates on webelongtogether.co received a text blast on Tuesday, announcing the upcoming release of “Aperture.”
Some fans may also get the chance to hear “Aperture” ahead of its scheduled release date. According to Styles’s official fan club, Harry Styles Headquarters, select record stores in specific cities — including London, Tokyo and New York — will host “Aperture” listening parties this Wednesday. More details are to come.
