Royal style rule breaker Princess Stephanie echoed her daughter in a bold white suit layered over a vibrant scarlet blouse, while her son (and Camille’s half-brother) Louis Ducruet looked dapper in a suit. His wife Marie Ducruet was radiant in all-black. The guest of honour was Prince Albert II of Monaco, who smiled with his sister, niece and nephew on the red carpet.

It is not the first time Camille Gottlieb has won comparisons to her iconic grandmother.

Camille opened up about the frequent comparisons between her and her grandmother in a candid conversation with Vanity Fair in July, telling the outlet: ‘When people told me I looked like my grandmother, to me, I looked like “Mémé des anges,” [Grandmother of the Angels], not like an internationally known star. It’s a huge compliment and an honour to look like her. She’s still the most beautiful woman in the world.’

‘For me, she is above all my mother’s mother. I would really have liked to know her and talk with her. From what my mother tells me, from what we hear, she was a very funny person, with ideas, who had character and who was a very admirable person on all levels,’ she added in the interview.

The young royal is known to pay many a sartorial tribute to Grace Kelly, even commissioning gowns inspired by the actress’s most iconic roles. For the 2025 Monaco Red Cross Gala, Camille attended wearing a bespoke gown, designed in collaboration with Elisabetta Franchi, that paid a direct homage to her grandmother’s role in Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window. With its black bodice, empire silhouette, and metallic floral embroidery, it was a true slice of Old Hollywood made new for an oh-so-modern royal. ‘I’ve seen all her films,’ Camille told Gala of the inspiration behind her dress. ‘Her outfit in Alfred Hitchcock’s work is one of my favourites.’
