Today, we’re breaking the mould a little bit and spotlighting one of the most resilient figures in pro football: Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton, who is not a former CFC100, as he was born and raised in the states as a dual-citizen. The well-travelled linebacker’s path has taken him from California to Montana, up north to Calgary in the CFL, and back down to the NFL.

Singleton’s accomplishments are not done justice simply by listing off his football accolades though. Throughout his career, he has also overcome a torn ACL, been diagnosed with and recovered from testicular cancer, and been the ultimate role model and brother to his older sister and Special Olympics champion, Ashley.
