San Francisco has added another piece to its evolving roster.

The deal is worth $20.5 million with incentives that could push it to $21 million, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reported.

A former Gold Glove winner, the 31-year-old Bader was on the market for a third straight season. However, 2025 marked a career season.

Bader hit .277/.347/.449 with 17 home runs, 54 RBIs, and 11 stolen bases in 146 games last season split between the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies.

The Bronxville, N.Y., native was drafted in 2015 by the St. Louis Cardinals as a third-round pick. He played there from 2017-2022, winning a Gold Glove in 2021.

After leaving St. Louis, he went on to represent the New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets, Twins and Phillies before finally arriving in San Francisco.

The deal is expected to be finalized following a physical.
