The TTC says service has resumed on Line 2 after a trespasser at track level triggered a 12-stop shutdown during the Tuesday morning rush hour.
In a tweet published at 7:23 a.m., customers were alerted that trains weren’t stopping between Keele and Broadview stations due to the situation at Bay Station.
Shuttle buses were running before service eventually came back online at 8:14 a.m.
Video from a packed Broadview Station showed hundreds of customers waiting to make their way up to street level to catch a bus in the bitter cold.
This is the second straight day TTC customers have faced service suspensions on the subway system.
On Monday, large portions of the network were shut down due to the record-breaking snowstorm.
