
Location of the moose calf remains (via Government of Newfoundland and Labrador)
Wildlife officers need the public’s help in solving a recent moose poaching incident in Lower Trinity South.
The fresh remains of a male calf, including the head, were discovered on the pole line in the vicinity of Fox Farm Road near Islington on January 6.
The carcass is believed to have been removed using two ATVs and a trailer as ATV tracks were visible.
