Ryan Wohl gives his picks for UFC 325, headlined by a Featherweight Championship contest between Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes.

The UFC schedule rolls on with its second numbered event, UFC 325, in two consecutive weeks. Last week, the company made its debut on Paramount+ with UFC 324, where Justin Gaethje beat Paddy Pimblett for the Interim Lightweight title. Now, the promotion returns to the home country of Undisputed UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski of Australia. Volkanovski is facing Diego Lopes in a rematch after they first fought in April 2025 at UFC 314.

The Early Prelims begin at 5:00 p.m. ET, Prelims start at 7:00 p.m. ET, with the Main Card starting at 9:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+. Check out my favorite fighters to add to your daily fantasy lineup for Saturday’s UFC 325 event.

Cam Rowston ($9,300)

The third member of the City Kickboxing team on the UFC 325 card is Cam Rowston, who is taking on Cody Brundage on the Prelims. Rowston had a terrific end to 2025, as he earned a contract in August on Dana White’s Contender Series and followed it up with another first-round knockout in his UFC debut in September. Although Rowston’s previous two victories have come by knockout, he has six career submissions, showing he is a versatile fighter.

Rowston’s opponent, Brundage, has been in the UFC for over four years but is just 5-6-1 in the promotion. Brundage lost to Eric McConico via split decison in August in his last fight, with his last win coming in March 2025. On paper, this matchup favors Rowston, as he is three inches taller (6’3″ vs. 6’0″) and has a massive six-inch reach advantage (78″ vs. 72″). In his UFC debut, Rowston scored 107.5 fantasy points against Andre Petroski. Rowston should be able to dominate Brundage in this matchup with his elite, versatile skill set and size advantage.

Alexander Volkanovski ($8,500)

Over nine months since reclaiming the Featherweight title, Volk is back for his seventh title defense. Volkanovski recorded 101.9 fantasy points en route to a unanimous decision victory over Diego Lopes in April 2025. After not winning a fight at 145 pounds for nearly two years, Volk proved that age is just a number.

Even though Volk is 37 years old, he has lost to only one fighter at 145 pounds (Ilia Topuria). Volkanovski has fought in 10 consecutive title fights and has totaled 94-plus points seven times in that span. When Volk is aggressive while putting out a high output on the feet, he remains extremely difficult to defeat.

Volkanovski landed 158 significant strikes in his previous contest, 95 more than Lopes did. Although Lopes is a skilled striker and possesses legit knockout power, Volkanovski showed he could respond when taking his biggest shots in their first fight. Volkanovski will have his home-country crowd behind him throughout the fight. Lopes knocked out Jean Silva, who is a good fighter, in his last fight. But Volkanovski is on a different level and is so hard to figure out and get the best of throughout a five-round bout. At only $8,500, Volkanovski is an excellent addition to your fantasy lineup at this price.

Dan Hooker ($7,000)

Two months after suffering a loss to Arman Tsarukyan, “The Hangman” Dan Hooker is staying active and facing Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 325. Hooker has won three of his previous four contests, but BSD is entering this fight riding a three-fight winning streak. Saint Denis went 3-0 in 2025 with wins over Kule Prepolec, Maurico Ruffy, and Beneil Dariush.

Even though Hooker couldn’t get anything going against Tsarukyan, he now enters a better matchup against Saint Denis. BSD is good on the ground but has shown a willingness to stand and strike when the matchup calls for it, which is possible in this one.

Hooker is the third-cheapest fighter on this card at $7,000, and even though he is coming off a loss, he still possesses a ton of upside. In four of his previous five wins, Hooker has scored at least 95 points. Hooker has the height (6’0″ vs. 5’11”) and reach (75″ vs. 73″) advantages in this contest, which should help him succeed on the feet. As he has previously shown, Hooker excels in a war on the feet. If he can implement an elite takedown defense, Hooker will have a good chance of winning this fight while being an excellent fantasy contributor.
