A female pedestrian has died after being hit by a transport truck in Brampton.
Peel police say it happened in the area of Queen Street West and McLaughlin Road shortly before 6 p.m.
When emergency services arrived, they found the pedestrian in life-threatening condition, police say. She was pronounced dead shortly after.
Meanwhile, police say the driver of the truck remained at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are not immediately known.
Police say the intersection is closed for the investigation.
