The Sault Area Hospital says a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared on the 2C unit.

All visitors and essential caregivers are asked to wear personal protective equipment when in a patient’s room, where additional precautions have been added.

Visitors are also asked to adhere to hand hygiene practices.
