The WTA rankings as of February 2, 2026 confirm changes in the top tier of women’s tennis and highlight Ukrainian stars who remain in the top 100.

Elina Svitolina, Ukraine’s No. 1, after reaching the Australian Open semifinals, rose to No. 10 (+2) and marked her 392nd week in the world’s top 20.

Marta Kostyuk dropped three spots to 23rd. Dayana Yastremska fell to 43rd (-15), and Oleksandra Oliynykova is 91st (+1).

Also notable in the rankings was Yulia Starodubtseva, who rose to 101st (+8). Daria Snigur fell to 144th (-8), and Angelina Kalinina rose to 166th (+13).

Note: four Ukrainian tennis players are currently in the top 100 – Svitolina, Kostyuk, Yastremska, and Oliynykova.

Key positions of the Ukrainian tennis community in the rankings

The singles ranking is led by Aryna Sabalenka. The world No. 2 is Iga Swiatek of Poland, and Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan takes third place, who won the Australian Open 2026.
