FOX Deportes Kicks Off 15th NASCAR Season with Daytona 500

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – With the pedal down to history, FOX Sports takes the green flag for its record-breaking 23rd Daytona 500 broadcast this month, the most by any television network in NASCAR history. In preparation for the milestone, FOX Sports unveils its broadcaster lineup for the 2026 Daytona 500, Daytona Speedweeks and FOX NASCAR season, its 26th consecutive season of coverage, also a record for any network.

DAYTONA 500 COVERAGE

Calling FOX Sports’ 23rd Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2:30 PM ET on FOX, is play-by-play announcer Mike Joy, covering his 47th Daytona 500 for live TV or radio. Alongside him with analysis are Clint Bowyer, a 10-time NASCAR Cup Series winner in his sixth season with FOX, and 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion and 2007 Daytona 500 winner Kevin Harvick, in his third year in the booth.

Original FOX NASCAR race analyst and two-time Daytona 500-winning crew chief Larry McReynolds, back with FOX for his 26th Daytona Speedweeks, joins Joy, Bowyer and Harvick with analysis. Veteran reporters Jamie Little, Josh Sims and Regan Smith cover pit road.

Setting the stage with NASCAR RACEDAY prerace coverage at 12:30 PM ET on FOX, Chris Myers returns to host his 23rd Daytona 500 live from the track. Joining him is 2010 Daytona 500 winner Jamie McMurray, plus Bowyer and Harvick, in addition to two-time Daytona 500 winner Michael Waltrip reporting from pit road. Veteran FOX Sports reporter and 17-time Sports Emmy winner Tom Rinaldi returns to Daytona for prerace coverage.

In 2026, Joy, McReynolds and Myers mark their 26th seasons as FOX NASCAR broadcasters, each with the network since its first race – the 2001 Daytona 500.

Producer Chuck McDonald returns for his fourth season in 2026, joined by veteran director Daren Foster, embarking on his first season directing NASCAR Cup Series race coverage after 25 years with FOX Sports across multiple sports including NASCAR, NFL and college football.

Additionally, as previously announced, FOX Sports Films premieres WE’VE LOST DALE EARNHARDT: 25 YEARS LATER on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 10:00 PM ET on FS1 immediately following the Duel at Daytona.

FS1 LIVE FROM DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

A special Daytona 500 edition of FS1’s popular daily studio show FIRST THINGS FIRST with Nick Wright, Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes will be live on-site from Daytona International Speedway on Thursday, February 12 (3:00 to 5:00 PM ET), and Friday, February 13 (4:30 to 5:30 PM ET).

FOX DEPORTES

FOX Deportes broadcasts the Daytona 500 to kick off its 15th NASCAR season live from Daytona International Speedway. The Spanish-language broadcast is led by renowned play-by-play announcer Tony Rivera with Emmy Award-winning analyst Jessi Losada and pit reporter Livette Ruvalcaba. Race coverage begins Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2:00 PM ET.

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES

FOX Sports embarks on its 24th season of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series coverage in 2026. Little, the first and only female play-by-play announcer in NASCAR, calls the season opener from Daytona on Friday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 PM ET on FS1, with analysis from Harvick and three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano. Sims, Smith and veteran broadcaster Amanda Busick report from pit road at Daytona. Veteran motorsports announcers Eric Brennan and Brent Stover also handle play-by-play duties in 2026.

ARCA MENARDS SERIES

FOX Sports celebrates its milestone 30th season of ARCA Menards Series coverage in 2026 beginning with the season opener from Daytona, live on FOX for the second consecutive year, on Saturday Feb. 14, at 12:00 PM ET. Brennan calls the Daytona race with former driver and primary analyst Phil Parsons alongside 2022 Daytona 500 winner Austin Cindric. Longtime FOX NASCAR host/reporter Kaitlyn Vincie, marking her 15th season with FOX Sports, and veteran broadcaster Alex Weaver cover pit road at Daytona. Stover and Brennan share play-by-play responsibilities throughout the year.

IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

FOX Sports and NASCAR expand the Daytona 500 viewing experience through immersive technology, building on last year’s partnership with Xtadium that brought the iconic race to fans live in virtual reality for the first time. In 2026, fans will be able to experience the Daytona 500 on the Galaxy XR headset powered by Android XR, with a live presentation at Cosm’s award-winning shared reality venue in Dallas.
