Harvey’s is feeling the love, after Will Arnett gave the Ontario-based hamburger chain a sincere shoutout on a recent episode of the YouTube series “Hot Ones.”

The popular interview-style show presents guests with chicken wings coated in different types of hot sauce, which they consume while answering questions about their lives and careers. The hot sauces’ heat level progresses over the span of the interview.

The Toronto-born actor and podcaster appeared delighted when host Sean Evans asked about his enthusiasm for the Big Harv burger, which is a Harvey’s burger with two beef patties topped with Swiss and cheddar-style cheese slices.

“Oh man, now you’re speaking my language,” Arnett replied. “The Big Harv is the Cadillac of cheeseburgers. It’s just like a big, double—you can get it with bacon. There’s something about the way that they grill up their burgers at Harvey’s, the way they do their sliced pickles on a burger. Come on.”

Arnett’s enthusiasm for his favourite burger didn’t go unnoticed. Along with making headlines across local media, the news made its way to the higher ups at Harvey’s.

“Getting that kind of love from a fellow Canadian like Will Arnett means a lot,” Harvey’s Chief Operating Office Michael Nault told CTVNewsToronto.ca in an email. “Seeing people across the country react to his ‘Hot Ones’ shoutout is a wonderful reminder of how food, especially a great flame-grilled burger, can bring people together.”

He added that they’re “incredibly grateful for the support from Will” and “we can’t wait to welcome him back for a Harvey’s burger the next time he’s in Canada.”

The burger chain first opened in Richmond Hill, Ont. in 1959, and has since expanded to more than 200 locations in Ontario and eight other provinces.

Arnett is known for his roles on shows like “Arrested Development” and “BoJack Horseman,” and movies like “Blades of Glory” and various Lego movies. He also co-hosts the popular podcast “Smartless,” alongside fellow actors Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes.
