In a city as increasingly drained of colour as Toronto is, (even blue skies have been rare of late), it’s always great to see a project that bucks the trend to dull grays of all hues that so many gormless developers default to of late. Rushden Station is one of the exceptions, with its spectacular trio of colourful towers and its beautifully randomized, multihued podium. This is the kind of joyful injection that cityscapes need in places for locals to form connections. Enough with banality and sterility, up with colour.
