Pamela Anderson has experimented with her hair a lot lately—but the Baywatch alum’s new look is one of her most surprising to date. On Thursday, the actress sat front row at New York Fashion Week in a set of tight shaggy curls—complete with sculptural fringe that grazed her brow bone.

Anderson’s mullet-like hairdo is a marked departure from her Marilyn Monroe-inspired blowout, which she sported at the WWD Style Awards in January. Then, at the Golden Globes, she straightened her strands to style them in a sleek chignon. Earlier that same month, the former Playboy playmate tried out a splash of color, adding pink streaks to her platinum hair.

Last fall, Anderson stepped out in New York City for an event celebrating her skincare line, Sonsie, where she showed off her strawberry blonde tresses after going full ginger just weeks prior.

Anderson paired her tousled curls with a flowy floral dress featuring eyelet trim. She added on white opaque tights and some brown heels.

Within months of debuting a bob at the 2025 Met Gala—where she also wore Tory Burch—Anderson chopped her chin-length strands even shorter just in time for Paris Fashion Week.

Her stylist, Bailey Moon, uploaded a photo of the actress to his Instagram Stories in late September, revealing Anderson’s freshly dyed red hair. Modeling a sleeveless ivory satin dress by One Of, she rocked a chin-length look with wispy bangs.

A source told InStyle that the hairdo was for Anderson’s upcoming role in Michael Cera’s directorial debut, Love is Not the Answer, in which she’ll star alongside Steve Coogan. Perfected by hairstylist, John Nollet, the style was inspired by French icons such as Isabelle Huppert, Bibi Anderson, Liv Ullman, and Monica Bellucci.

Speaking to Who What Wear in May, Anderson explained how shorter hair made her feel like “a feminine warrior.”

“For the Met, I wanted something strong, brave, and committed—aligned with the night’s theme of tailoring from head to toe,” Anderson said.
