The action will heat up on Tuesday at the ATP 250 Delray Beach Open, with warm temperatures and seven home American players marking the order of play in South Florida. LWOT predicts and previews all the matches, with this set of predictions featuring an early afternoon Center Court American contest. We also have the remaining Delray Beach predictions for Tuesday in a separate article.
ATP Delray Beach Day 2 PredictionsÂ
Aleksandar Kovacevic vs Zachary Svajda
Head-to-head:Â First meeting
Kovacevic won the pair’s two meetings in either qualifying or lower-level tournaments, though this match feels like a good litmus test for both players. Svadja has compiled an impressive 12-2 record in 2026, which featured an ATP Challenger title victory in San Diego. Meanwhile, Kovacevic thrived in his first tour event in Brisbane in January, though his form has dipped since. Both Americans will want to start a solid run on home soil.
Prediction: Svadja in 3
Adam Walton vs Gabriel Diallo
Head-to-head:Â First meeting
Diallo is 2-5 on the season so far, but a strong performance against eventual Dallas champion Ben Shelton was a good result for the Canadian last week. Walton is a lucky loser this week, as he has yet to win a tour-level match this season. The Aussie may be able to persist in the longer rallies, but he’ll have to be clinical against Diallo’s strong serve. The Canadian has a bit more upside to his tennis, if he’s consistent.
Prediction: Diallo in 2
Miomir Kecmanovic vs Mattia Bellucci
Head-to-head:Â First meeting
Kecmanovic is the defending champion this week, after he beat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in a thrilling 2025 finale. He’ll headline the first evening session match against Bellucci, who has a career hard count win record of under 40%, and sits just outside the Top 100. The Italian recently took a hit in the rankings, but he should have nothing to lose against a player surely facing some pressure with points to defend. Kecmanovic has enough weapons to win, but it may be close.
Prediction: Kecmanovic in 3
Sebastian Korda vs Mackenzie McDonald
Head-to-head:Â Korda 1-0
While both players are nowhere near their peak form, they have strong experience at the Delray Beach Open. McDonald reached the semifinal of this event in 2019 and 2023, while Korda reached the final in 2021. These two also thrive on the backhand wing, but Korda is a bit more aggressive and consistent overall. McDonald had to retire in his most recent ATP Challenger Tour match, while Korda has been more convincing in 2026. Korda nearly upset Taylor Fritz at the ATP 500 Dallas event last week, who is notably the top seed of the Delray Beach Open.
Prediction: Korda in 2
