Rainbow Six Mobile is launching early in India. This is the first country in the world that will get access to the long-awaited mobile shooter.

Rainbow Six Mobile is launching globally on February 23rd, but it will be coming to India on February 19th at 7:30 PM IST. This is four days before the rest of the world.

“I’m really excited for the worldwide release of our game next week,” Graphic Technical Director Chirag “Tito” Morab said on X. “I have a very special message to our friends in India. We are currently warming up our servers in Mumbai and will open up our game in India four days before the rest of the world.”

Why is Rainbow Six Mobile coming to India earlier?
India is one of the most active countries when it comes to mobile gaming, with over 500 million active mobile gamers. However, Rainbow Six Siege X is not extremely popular in India compared to other countries, so it will be interesting to see how this pans out for Ubisoft.

Right now, India is big on Free Fire Max and Battlegrounds Mobile India. These games not only have a ton of casual players, but a dedicated esports scene with tournaments throughout the year. It will be interesting to see how Rainbow Six Mobile fits into the country’s mobile shooter landscape.

Players that have already gotten their hands on the game have said it’s a lot slower and more tactical than India’s favorite titles. It could give competitive players a great alternative if they want to leave the chaos of the other popular shooters for a more team-focused, strategic option.

For the rest of the world, the hype is only growing
