ROAD CLOSED: Damage light post leads to closure in Brampton

Drivers can expect delays after a damaged light post has led to closures on a busy Brampton street, police say.

Peel Regional Police say the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Queen Street East in Brampton. A damaged light standard has led police to close Queen Street in both directions between Torbram Road and Finchgate Road.

Police are advising drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes while the closure is in place.
