CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Huntington Bank Field, the home of the Cleveland Browns, will host a battle between two international soccer powers as Brazil faces Egypt on June 6 at 6 p.m.

The game is part of the Road to 26 series, which is a new U.S.-based international match series created to showcase the world’s top national teams.

The Brazilian national team is the most decorated in the history of the FIFA World Cup, with five tournament championships (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002) and two runner-up finishes (1950 and 1998). It is the only team to have participated in every World Cup and leads all nations with a record 76 wins in 114 matches played.

The Egyptian national team is Africa’s oldest and one of the most successful on the continent. Egypt has won the Africa Cup of Nations a record seven times. The team has made three appearances in the FIFA World Cup and was the first African and Middle Eastern team to play in the tournament.

Brazil and Egypt have played six times since 1960, with Brazil winning all six matches. They have not met since 2011.
