Live Stats

There will be sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s for the Princeton women’s tennis team, which will be spending its weekend in South Florida.

The Tigers, ranked 34th in Division I in this week’s ITA poll, have two matches to play, first Saturday at Florida International in Miami and then Sunday at Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton. Both matches will start at noon.

In addition to its team ranking, Princeton’s doubles team of Bella Chhiv and Eva Elbaz checked in at No. 90 this week.

Princeton has a limited history with both teams, and no current players were on the teams the last time they squared off. Princeton is 1-2 against FIU, with the most recent meeting in 2014, and 0-1 against FAU, with that match in 2019.

The matches this weekend will be the second and third of six straight away from home for the Tigers, who will return to the Northeast and play at Penn State next Saturday.Â
