If you are heading to downtown Toronto early to watch the Canadian men’s hockey team play for gold, GO Transit is adding an extra train to help you get there.

Metrolinx says a special Lakeshore West train is departing Confederation GO at 5:52 a.m., making all station stops to Union Station.

The train is estimated to arrive at the downtown Toronto train station at 7:30 a.m.

The much-anticipated men’s hockey gold medal game between Canada and its archrival, the United States, is scheduled to start at 8:10 a.m.

Canada last won men’s hockey gold in 2014.

Despite the early morning start, some hockey fans are expected to watch the game at bars and restaurants across the province.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has allowed establishments to sell alcohol starting at 6 a.m.

The Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) is hosting a watch party at Scotiabank Arena with tickets starting at $15.

MLSE says there will be special Canadian breakfast concession offerings, giveaways, and activations for fans attending the party.

Gates open at 7 a.m. MLSE says proceeds of the event will benefit the MLSE Foundation.

After 15 days of competition, Canada has won 20 medals in Italy: five gold, six silver and nine bronze.

The Milano Cortina Games are set to conclude on Sunday.
