TORONTO, Ont. – Thursday morning (Jan. 29) the Canadian Football League (CFL) announced the 140 draft-eligible prospects who have been invited to showcase their skills this year throughout the 2025 CFL Combine Season. Among those announced were four student-athletes from the University of Saskatchewan (USask) Huskie football program, who will join the top university football players from across the country at the National and Invitational combines in February and March. 

This will mark the third year since the CFL re-vamped the combine structure, moving to a single Invitational Combine in the place of traditional West, Ontario, and East Regional Combines prior to the National Combine. 

As such, the 2025 CFL Combine season will get underway with the Invitational Combine on February 28 at the Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House in Waterloo, Ontario. Representing the Huskies at the Invitational Combine, and hoping to earn an invite to the National Combine, will be 2024 U SPORTS Second Team All-Canadian running back Ryker Frank. 

This year, the CFL National Combine is set to return to the province of Saskatchewan for the first time since 2017, with top prospects set to descend on Regina and the REAL AffinityPlex from March 21-23. 2024 At the National Combine, First Team All-Canadian linebacker Seth Hundeby and receiver Daniel Wiebe, along with linebacker Lane Novak, have been invited to put their skills on display for CFL scouts, front office staff, and coaches.
