Crash injures two people, closes part of major road in Mississauga: police

A crash in Mississauga’s west end on Tuesday morning has sent two people to hospital and closed part of a major road.

Peel Regional Police said the two people who’ve been hospitalized suffered injuries not considered to be life threatening.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 8:30 a.m. at Eglinton Avenue West and Willow Creek Drive, a short distance east of Creditview Road and north of Highway 403.

Eastbound Eglinton Avenue West has been closed at White Clover Way while southbound Willow Creek Drive is closed at Eglinton Avenue West for the investigation and cleanup, police said.

Motorists are being told to expect delays in the area until the scene is cleared by police.
