Brittney Griner remains one of the most accomplished veterans in women’s basketball. A 12‑season WNBA star and champion, she has been a dominant force in the paint for much of her career, winning a title with the Phoenix Mercury. Griner has earned 10 All-Star selections and is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year. She has also represented the U.S. internationally, winning three Olympic gold medals.

In 2025, Grinner joined the Atlanta Dream on a one-year deal. She averaged 9.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 39 games, and helped her team finish with the league’s third best record, earning a playoff berth.
