Because of her superior grappling and takedown skills, I predict a unanimous decision victory for Perez over Chiasson. Perez is one of the few fighters in the UFC who was able to take down all of her opponents inside the octagon, and I think she’ll be able to do it against Chiasson.
Once Perez takes hold of her opponents on the mat, she’ll be able to work her way into a favorable position, either via ground-and-pound strikes or a submission maneuver. This approach also allows her to neutralize the danger of her opponent’s striking, especially the boxing skills of Chiasson.

Perez was the former CFU and Samurai Fight House titleholder before signing with the UFC in 2022. She received a submission loss from Stephanie Egger in her octagon debut, but quickly bounced back with five straight wins against Ashlee Evans-Smith, Lucie Pudilova, Joselyne Edwards, Daria Zhelezniakova, and Karol Rosa.

Chiasson is a UFC veteran who has been with the promotion since 2019. However, in her last five bouts, she only recorded two wins over Pannie Kianzad and Mayra Bueno Silva, and dropped the other three to Irene Aldana, Ketlen Vieira, and Yana Santos.
