The Toronto Blue Jays kick off their 2026 regular season on Friday, March 27 and they’ve packed their opening month with celebrations, exclusive giveaways and key matchups at the Rogers Centre. 

The home opener against the Athletics will honour the American League pennant and kick off the festivities of the Jays’ milestone 50th season. 

Here’s what Blue Jays fans can expect when it comes to giveaways, ticket prices and special promotional nights at the ballpark. 

Blue Jays opening month giveaways and promotional nights

On Friday, March 27, a Blue Jays AL Champions Pennant will be given to all fans upon entrance, along with a Blue Jays magnet schedule as each fan exits the Rogers Centre that evening. 

The following day, on Saturday, March 28, the first 15,000 fans who enter the stadium can expect a Blue Jays AL Champions white panel hat. 

The opening weekend festivities don’t stop there, however, as Sunday, March 28 marks the first Jr. Jays Sunday of the season where kids ages 14 and under can experience running the bases postgame. 

Fans in attendance can expect an on-field ceremony celebrating the franchise’s 50th season, which will take place prior to first pitch. The American League Pennant will also be raised to the rafters during the home opener ceremony.

On Monday, March 30, the first 15,000 fans who enter the Rogers Centre for their home game against the Colorado Rockies will receive a Blue Jays AL Champions crewneck. 

For fans who are wondering when the first Loonie Dogs Night will be taking place, you won’t have to wait very long at all, as the popular stadium event is set for Tuesday, March 31.
