In one of the largest drug busts ever executed by Durham police, 325 kilograms of cocaine was discovered
Durham Regional Police on Friday announced the seizure of $7 million worth of cocaine from a storage facility in Toronto.
The discovery, carried out by Durham’s drug enforcement unit, is one of the service’s largest drug busts ever.
On Feb. 23, officers arrested a 17-year-old male for possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, then subsequently executed a search warrant at a storage facility in Toronto.
Police did not specify where the storage facility is located or what business operates from the building.
During the search, 325 kilograms of cocaine, valued at over $7 million, was located and seized by officers.
