Two men were taken to hospital following a drive-by shooting in Mississauga early Saturday morning.
Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Goreway Drive and Derry Road East around 1:10 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were initially reported to be in critical condition.
Investigators later said that one of the men’s condition improved, and he is now considered stable, while the second victim remains in critical condition.
Police believe the suspect or suspects left the scene in a vehicle described as a possible dark-coloured sedan.
There is a large police presence in the area as the investigation remains ongoing. Residents and drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
