We’d have to call this a mismatch.

Norris Cole, a two-time NBA champion with the Miami Heat, now works at Trinity High School in Pennsylvania, where they have a students vs. teachers basketball game.

And yeah, one of the players on the teachers team was Cole himself, a talented guard who teamed with those Big Three groups in Miami.

He was just a bit better than everyone else on the court.

The highlights are going viral, because Cole was out there doing ridiculous things:

It’s certainly a good reminder that while lots of people can play basketball to some extent, NBA players are operating in a whole different stratosphere.

Those on the floor were lucky Cole wasn’t a lanky forward or something who could also go out there and dunk all over them.

Those long-range shots were more than enough in what looks to have worked out as a surprisingly competitive matchup.

In a setting like that, Cole surely also spent some time deferring and trying to get his fellow staff members a few buckets.

In the end, though, it was always going to be about Cole being miles better than everyone else on the floor.
