Former AEW Star Danhausen Makes WWE Debut At Elimination Chamber 2026

WWE

Former AEW star Danhausen has officially joined WWE, making his debut appearance at tonight’s Elimination Chamber premium live event.

Last night, Danhausen’s departure from AEW was officially confirmed as he was removed from the company’s roster page.

He hadn’t appeared in AEW since 2023 or in Ring of Honor since 2024.

Today, he made his first ever WWE appearance at Elimination Chamber, coming out of the mystery crate that had been bouncing between Raw and SmackDown in recent weeks.

Raw and SmackDown General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis opened the crate to reveal a coffin inside.

They shook their heads and left before several women with Danhausen facepaint came out of it, followed by Danhausen himself.

Complete with new theme music, Danhausen then came to the ringside area where he gave Michael Cole a jar of glass teeth.

Cole did refer to him as Danhausen so it appears he will be keeping that name.

Danhausen is known to be a close friend of CM Punk, with tonight’s show taking place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago.

Punk himself had just retained his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor before Danhausen’s appearance.

Punk’s wife AJ Lee also won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tonight from Becky Lynch.
