HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The No. 9 Texas Women’s Golf team recorded 4-over 288 on Tuesday to stay in first place after the second round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club.

Texas was the sole school with under par scoring after two rounds of play. The Longhorns are three shots ahead of second place Florida State. 

Farah’ O’Keefe registered 1-under 70 while Lauren Kim notched even-par 70 in round two. The Longhorns carded 15 birdies during day two, led by O’Keefe’s five and Kim’s four. O’Keefe is one shot ahead of second place Elin Pudas Remler from Florida State, and Kim is four shots behind Pudas Remler. 

The Longhorns will compete their final round at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at 11:10 a.m. CT on hole 1. 

The Lineup

Farah O’Keefe posted 1-under 70 on Tuesday and is at first place in the individual leaderboard. O’Keefe notched five birdies during her second round of play. O’Keefe birdied holes 3, 5 and 6 on the front and 13 and 15 on the back. 

Lauren Kim put up even-par 71 during round two and is at third place in the individual leaderboard. Kim carded four birdies on Tuesday and is four shots behind second place. 

Cindy Hsu carded 1-over 72 for the second round and is T28 in the individual leaderboard. Hsu birdied on hole 2 and 5 on Tuesday. 

Selina Liao recorded 4-over 75 for round two and is T28 in the individual leaderboard. Liao birdied hole 2 and 18 in the second round. 

Angela Heo recorded 4-over 75 in the second round and is 61 in the individual leaderboard. Heo carded two birdies at hole 5 and 9.
