Residents from around the West Central region will have a chance to congregate in Rosetown next week when the Grey Cup comes to town.

The 2025 CFL champion Roughriders will be in town one week from today.

“The Town of Rosetown is excited to announce that the Grey Cup will be making a stop here on Thursday March 12th from 12-2pm at the AGT Centre,” the town shared on social media Wednesday. “Come down and get your picture with the Grey Cup!”

The Rosetown date will join other recent local cup appearances in Outlook and Kenaston and mark the closest one yet to all-CFL centre Logan Ferland’s childhood hometown of Kindersley. Ferland is not booked for the Rosetown appearance, and it remains to be seen whether or not the Grey Cup will make it back out to West Central before being returned to the CFL.

Even though Ferland has Kindersley roots there is no doubt the community of Rosetown deserves the visit just as much. Not only does Rosetown love their football, but the town’s water tower has been Roughrider themed for years, no doubt helping keep generations of fans excited about their team down in Regina.
