One of Punjabi music’s most in-demand live performers is coming to Brampton.

Amrit Maan will headline the William Osler Health System Foundation’s fundraising event this spring.

Now in its 13th year, the Holi Gala will take place on April 11 at the Pearson Convention Centre.

Maan, a singer, songwriter, and actor associated with Punjabi film and music, rose to fame after the release of the song Desi Da Drum in 2015.

Proceeds from the 2026 Holi Gala will support William Osler Health System hospitals, including Brampton Civic, Etobicoke General and Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness (Peel Memorial). This year’s event is aiming to raise $1 million to support the transformation of Peel Memorial into Brampton’s second hospital, helping advance patient care and bringing much-needed health care services close to home.

“We volunteer our time to Holi Gala because it is deeply meaningful to both of us,” said Dr. Gurjit Bajwa and Pal Ghumman, Co-Chairs of the 2026 Holi Gala Committee. “The money raised goes back into the very community where we live, work, and raise our families. It’s where our professional and personal lives meet. With Amrit Maan headlining, it will be an exciting night that also helps improve care across the region.”

The evening includes a cocktail reception followed by dinner and is expected to welcome more than 850 guests.

“Holi Gala reflects what is possible when a community rallies around something it cares about,” added Shelagh Barry, Interim President and CEO, William Osler Health System Foundation. “People come for the celebration, but they support this event because they know it helps strengthen the care that their families and neighbours depend on. That connection between a great night out and real impact on our hospitals, our families, our friends, is what keeps people coming back year after year.”
