In addition to his strong night, Thompson also made NBA history.

He joined his former teammate Steph Curry (and James Harden) on an all-time list.

Via Mavs PR: “Klay Thompson has gone 5-of-8 from beyond the arc thus far and has a team-high 18 points through three quarters tonight in Orlando. Thompson joins Steph Curry and James Harden as one of three players in NBA history to record 200-or-more games with 5+ 3-pointers.”

Fans will likely enjoy seeing the accomplishment due to his long run with Curry in Golden State.

The two were teammates for 13 years (and brought the Warriors four titles).
