Peel Police say a man out for a walk was attacked, stabbed and robbed in Brampton last night (March 5).
Reports say the victim was walking along Forsythia Road in the area of Queen Street East and Torbram Road around 8 p.m. when he was approached by a man who demanded his phone.
Police say the victim struggled with his attacker but was stabbed with a sharp object.
The culprit then managed to take the phone and ran from the scene.
Injuries sustained by the victim were serious, and he was taken to the hospital. His condition is not considered life-threatening.
