Time is running out to try an immersive, active gaming experience that will soon close its doors in Brampton.

Activate is a chain of “the world’s first active gaming” facilities with locations across Canada, with a location in Bramalea City Centre that opened in 2022.

“Jump, climb, problem-solve and laugh as you and your friends move between challenges,” Activate says on its website. “Each dynamic game room has interactive technology that reacts in real-time, ensuring an adrenaline-filled adventure.”

But the Brampton location will be closing at the end of the month, according to the Activate website.

“Activate Brampton will close on March 31, 2026, due to property redevelopment,” the announcement reads.

Activate is encouraging guests to visit the location before it closes down, or visit other Ontario locations in Mississauga, Cambridge, Burlington, Pickering and Toronto.

Activate says it offers a wide range of games that test both your physical and mental abilities. Bookings need at least two people, and games are played in groups of two to five guests. Entry is $29 per person for 75 minutes of game play.

“Whether you’re climbing walls, solving puzzles, or dodging lasers, there’s something for everyone,” Activate says.

Activate Brampton is open until March 31 in Bramalea City Centre. Visit www.playactivate.com for more details.
