BOZEMAN, Mont. (March 6, 2026) – The Montana State men’s tennis team hits the road again this weekend, when the Bobcats visit Utah for a 4 pm match on Saturday, March 7.
 
The Bobcats (3-6 overall) extend a stretch of nine consecutive matches away from Bozeman over the course of seven weeks when the face Utah (3-9 overall) on Saturday. The Utes have been solid at the top and bottom ladder positions. Dante Teramo owns a 4-4 mark, all at No. 1 singles, while Charles Frey is 4-1 at the sixth ladder position.
 
Montana State received a boost in last week’s dual losses at Portland State and Portland, when sophomore Yassin Elaroussy moved into the top singles spot. Elaroussy earned wins at No. 2 singles on Saturday and then beat Portland on Sunday after moving to No. 1. He is 6-3 on the season across four ladder positions. Freshman David Ismanescu has also performed well, carrying a 6-1 mark into this weekend’s action. He has played the bottom two ladder spots.
