Cops on Monday announced that officers in the OPP James Bay detachment located and arrested Jacob “Baby Face” Wallace, 19, of Mississauga, in the remote northern Ontario town of Moosonee on Thursday, and charged him with first-degree murder and arson causing damage to property.

Still wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on the same charges is 19-year-old Isaiah Thomas Badger, of Edmonton.
Cops say he should be considered armed and dangerous and if seen, citizens are urged not to approach but to call police immediately.
Badger is encouraged to seek legal advice and turn himself in.

A man was located with multiple gunshot wounds in front of a business and taken to hospital, where he died.
The victim was identified as 65-year-old Richmond Hill resident Sergio Lopes, and it’s believed the shooting was targeted.

In his obituary, Lopes was remembered as “a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, friend, and giver of the best hugs. While the world mourns the loss of such a bright beacon of love, the combined light of all those he has inspired and influenced will shine even brighter as proof of his great deeds and accomplishments.”
Wallace is believed to have been the driver in the Lopes murder. A black SUV believed to be involved in the shooting was later found set ablaze on Kipling Ave. north of Woodbridge Ave.

Badger is also wanted for a second slaying that occured on Feb. 7, again around 3:30 p.m., in the parking lot of the Woodbine Shopping Centre in Rexdale.
Brampton resident Chandan Kumar Raja Nandakumar, 37, was found with gunshot wounds and died in hospital.
