A second suspect has been arrested for allegedly throwing a sex toy at a WNBA game.

Kaden Lopez, 18, was taken into custody at the matchup between the Phoenix Mercury and Connecticut Suns after police say he threw a green sex toy in front of him on Tuesday, Aug. 5, according to Fox 10 Phoenix.

The incident involving Lopez was captured on video. It documents the “green dildo” hitting a man and his 9-year-old niece before Lopez then exits the stands.

“Video footage shows Lopez, sitting in his seat, he retrieves the green dildo from his sweater front pocket then throws the dildo forward. He then stands up and leaves the area,” reads a court document, per the outlet.

Lopez was reportedly booked into jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault and public display of explicit sexual material.

Per the court docs, Lopez — who bought the sex toy the day before to take it to the game — said it was a “stupid prank that was trending on social media.”

Meanwhile, another sex toy was thrown onto the court during the Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks game that also took place earlier that night.

“Oh, look out. Something just came onto the floor. An object just flew in as the free throw is being made. It looked like that hit a player, too,” a commentator said during the incident, documented in a video shared on X.

The toy appeared to have hit Fever player Sophie Cunningham, who then joked about the incident on X. The Sparks went on to win, 100-91.

The Suns-Mercury incident, however, marked the fifth-known time a sex toy was thrown at a WNBA game. The first instance occurred during the Golden State Valkyries-Atlanta Dream matchup on July 29 in Atlanta.

As the final seconds wound down and the Valkyries and Dream fought for the win at the Gateway Center Arena, the broadcast showed a green object being thrown onto the court, later identified as a sex toy.

In a clip shared on X, sports announcer Morgan Ragan could be heard saying during a replay of the moment: “Something flies on the court actually from the crowd. And you can see the object… the green thing bounces and it goes to the sideline.”

“We’re not exactly sure where it came from,” she continued, as a timeout was called and the game was paused. “No room for any of that type of activity. And no one’s picked the object up yet, you guys.”

Police arrested Delbert Carver four days after that incident for allegedly throwing the sex toy, ESPN reported.

On Aug. 1, another toy was thrown onto the court at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago during the Golden State Valkyries-Chicago Sky game.
