There’s been quite a bit of turnover at the location that was the Paddlewheeler Pub in New Westminster, and now a new concept has taken over the space.
After a 37-year run, Paddlewheeler Pub closed its doors in 2023. Following that, the space remained empty for quite a few months before an Italian restaurant called Itilia Kitchen opened in its place the following year.
Fast forward to today, and the space has transitioned into a new, tiki-themed concept called the Quayside Tiki Bar.

“Join us for delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a great time with friends and family. Come celebrate with us — we can’t wait to serve you!” shared the restaurant on its Instagram, adding that the space is now open.
Aside from that, not much is known about the restaurant, and a menu has yet to be posted online. However, we anticipate you’ll find a selection of tiki drinks and classic bar fare here.
According to the restaurant’s Google listing, Quayside Tiki Bar is open Sunday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
