Montreal police probe ‘suspicious’ death in Masson St. apartment

Montreal police launched an investigation after a body was found Tuesday night in an apartment in the borough of Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie.

Officers were sent to an apartment on Masson St. at about 10 p.m. after receiving a report of the discovery of a body. The victim, an unidentified man, was declared dead at the scene.

The cause of death — deemed by police to be suspicious — has yet to be determined. Investigators will examine local surveillance cameras in an effort to shed light on the circumstances leading to the man’s death.
