A Calgary man has been charged with sexual assault and voyeurism after police say he met a woman through a dating app and later assaulted her at his home.

Calgary police say the woman began communicating with the man on a dating app in October 2025 and eventually agreed to meet him in person.

The woman went to the man’s home in southeast Calgary on Nov. 1 for a date. While there, he allegedly sexually assaulted her and took photos of her without her consent.

Officers executed a search warrant at the home on Tuesday, seizing items believed to be connected to the case.

Police have charged 23‑year‑old Spencer Maximus Andrews with one count of sexual assault and one count of voyeurism. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 19, 2026.
