Edmonton police (EPS) are seeking dashcam footage of Tuesday’s collision, in which two teenagers were injured.

Around noon Tuesday, two 16-year-old girls were hit by an SUV while they were crossing 122 Avenue at 96 Street in North Central Edmonton.

The driver, a 62-year-old man, remained on the scene. The teens were taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say neither speed nor alcohol were not being considered as factors leading up to the collision.

However, EPS is seeking dashcam footage of the incident to help with the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact EPS at 780-423-4567 or by dialling #377 from a mobile phone.
