As Shake Shack gears up to open new locations in Toronto this year, the popular burger brand is hosting a multiday job fair this month.

“We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team,” the company stated.

The job fair will run for three days from March 19 to 21 at DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Downtown. Located at 108 Chestnut St., it will kick off each day at 10 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m.

Positions are entry level and do not require previous experience, although a background in hospitality or food service experience is a plus. And in addition to an hourly base pay, employees can also earn tips and pay increases based on performance.

“All you need is the motivation to learn and grow in a professional, fast-paced, team-oriented environment,” according to Shake Shack.

“We will provide you with the tools necessary for a successful ‘Shacksperience,’ with hands-on training, online learning modules, and a structured path to grow your career.”

Responsibilities will include food prep, customer service, guest interactions, cooking, and cleaning.

And jobs at Shake Shack also come with team member dining discounts for those who are a fan of the restaurant’s burgers.

Candidates interested in the opportunity can submit their application online or join the team in-person this month at the hiring fair.

Shake Shack first launched in Canada in 2024. In October of 2025, it unveiled a new home inside of Vaughan Mills at 1 Bass Pro Mills Dr. It also opened a location that month at 40 Eglinton Ave. E.

In 2026, the company will open two more restaurants in the city at 556 King St. W. and 765 Yonge St.

Shake Shack also has Toronto locations at Union Station, at the Tenor on Dundas Street East, and at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

“The goal is to establish Shake Shack as a long-term part of Canada’s dining scene,” Billy Richmond, business director at Shake Shack Canada, previously told Toronto.com.

“There is a lot of love for Shake Shack across the GTA and we are excited about the opportunity to continue to expand and get closer to our guests.”
