Cheyenne, Wyo. – The Airport Golf Club and Prairie View Golf Course will be closed through the weekend and into next week as staff clears trees and removes debris from both courses.

As of Friday, March 13, the Prairie View Golf Course is expected to reopen late Tuesday morning, March 17. The Airport Golf Club is expected to reopen late next week.

The high wind event on Thursday, March 12, caused widespread damage throughout Cheyenne and additional high winds are expected through Saturday. Prairie View has one fallen tree and debris throughout the course. In addition to debris, the Airport Golf Club has at least 15 downed trees, many of which are affecting the course itself.

Staff will be working to clear damage and conduct safety inspections before reopening.
